Sound

For this activity we were learning about sound. I first started with the kick start then I moved onto the step it up.

    Benjamin here again.

What a lovely activity this was. I’m sitting at home working and I can hear all of the sounds of summer outside. Do you live on a rural property? That’s really fortunate for activities like this and just in general it’s nice to have lots of space for all sorts of things.

Your poem is beautiful Molly! “The world begins to untie”, what a wonderful line this is. That can be how summer feels sometimes, as people take time to relax and enjoy themselves more. You’ve conjured a lively image of summer with your words, ātaahua tērā :).
Keep up the great work Molly, take care!!

    1. Hi Benjamin

      Thanks for your positive comment.

I don't live on a farm but you could say I live on a small life style block. Do you live on a rural property?

      Thanks,
      Molly :)

    2. Hey Molly

No not at the moment I don't but I grew up on a farm. I miss the space and the quiet of living on a rural property.

That would be cool living on a farm. Did you have to milk the cows? I have never milked a cow but I was at my friends house and I watched her mum milk the goat. The goat only had one teat though.

Yea I did! I've never milked a goat though. Only one? That's sort of like cows who sometimes have 5 or 6 teats rather than just 4.

Hope you had a good weekend.

Goats should have 2 teats but this one was different. I have never milked an animal before. I have had there cheese. Have you had goats cheese?

I did have a good weekend hope you did too.

    6. Hey Molly

Yea I had a nice weekend too.

That's a bit funny isn't it, that we often eat food from places that we've never visited and due to processes that we've never been part of.

Once upon a time all of our food would have been produced by ourselves and our family. What do you think you prefer, buying your food or making it?

Yea I've had goats feta cheese, it's really yummy! It's nice to put in a garden salad.

      Take care,
      Benjamin

    7. Hey Benjamin

I do like buying food because it is a lot easier and doesn't take up so much time but if you make it your self then you know what goes in. What do you prefer?

    8. Hey Molly

It's a tough one! For sure, buying food is a lot faster and there is probably far more to choose from but then again if I have to spend a lot of time working some where to buy the food then maybe it doesn't work out to be so fast? If I could spend that time gardening instead of working then I think would enjoy that. I really enjoy being outdoors and in my garden!

      All the best,
      Benjamin
