Personal Experience Writing

Personal experience - W.A.L.T: use descriptive language when writing at least a 6 sentence retale of your experience.

Friday hockey game

The bitter cold wind whistling around. You are huddeling trying to keep warm. Running and stretching, slowly getting warm. Playing the game, you run like a cheetah trying to get the ball. Smiling at the sheer joy of it. Cheering when your team scores a goal. Hitting the ball like it is your very annoying brother. Tackling the other team making sure the ball does not hit your foot. Huffing as you run back and forth. Hearing the whistle blow for half time you jog back to your coach. Hungrily eating the oranges.

Descriptive Writing

 WALT: write a descriptive piece.

The frosty cold wind blasts the snow into my face. The wind yells at me as I trudge slowly towards the house leaving clear footprints in the snow. The icy steps make me slip and skid, ending in a painful fall. Cold and wet I see the pretty snowflakes falling onto my face, the grey sky frowning at me and I hear the happy laughs coming from in the house. Arriving in the house the warmth hits me like a bullet. I smell the delicious cakes baking on the fire.
