Dear Granny,

Thank you again for the money you gave me

last year on your birthday. It was really exciting

getting It,   and I’ve learned a lot about spending

and saving.  Here’s what I chose to do with the

money and why….

I have decided to spend the 1,000 on basketball.

• $110 basketball shoes
• $50 basketball
• $300 Under-13s training camp in Auckland
• $70 Bus fare
• $500 Stand, backboard, hoop and net

I went $30 over but don’t worry from my

job the paper run I managed to get that easily.

I would also like to thank you for the money

you gave my brother he is sending you a letter

as well.
