My name is Rachel and I am working with Allie and her team on the Summer Learning Journey blogging programme this year. I feel so lucky to have the chance to read the blogs from Grey Main School and to see that amazing job that you are doing with the programme. Wow! I can't believe that you have completed three full weeks of the SLJ. This is a great accomplishment.
It is really nice to see that you are also creating really attractive presentations for each day of the journey. I liked the colours that you chose for the title slide and the images that you included to correspond (match) with your answers.
Like you, I also love to bake and read on a rainy day. Do you have a favourite author by any chance? My son, Aronui, is eight years old and he is really into Harry Potter and Roald Dahl at the moment. He has been reading to me from his books recently and I've really enjoyed it. Do you ever read to your family?
I hope that you and your family are having a wonderful day. I am already looking forward to reading more of your posts and to learning more about our environment and the beautiful country that we call home. I certainly hope that we are able to make changes that protect us acid rain and reduce the amount of carbon dioxide that we are putting into the air.
Thanks for sharing this great post with us, Molly!
Hi Rachel Guess what my favourite author is J.K rolling at the moment as well because I also am reading Harry Potter. I sometimes read to my family by reading an article from the News Paper out loud. Yes I also hope that we can change things about the acid rain. bye Molly
You and Aronui are at virtually the same place in your reading! I hope that the book becomes available really soon. Are you reading anything else while you wait?

Hi Molly,
DeleteIt is so cool to read that you are a fan of JK Rowling as well. What a small world!
Aronui is currently reading the fourth Harry Potter book - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Which Harry Potter book are you currently reading?
