Well done on completing another days worth of activities! You're powering through them. :)
You've come up with some really thoughtful questions to ask Dame Suzie Moncrieff. In fact, I think you're the first Summer Learning Journey blogger that I've come across that has thought to ask about her becoming a dame. I'd be interested to hear about the process as well. Have you been to a WOW show before? I went to one when I lived in Wellington and, WOW!, was it was amazing! :) It was definitely one of the highlights of my time there.
I suppose that is the question, isn't it? I imagine that there would be a variety of possible explanations but to think it could be a taniwha is by far the coolest of them all! :) Plus, if they can shapeshift, who's to say they haven't taken the form of everyday sea creatures and are living among us in plain sight?! I would like them to be real - it'd be nice to know that there's something out there protecting our waterways.
I really enjoyed reading your acrostic poem Molly. I like that, even though Beijing has a terrible pollution problem, you were able to look passed it and think about the experience as a whole, and not just focus on that one bad thing. It's a lovely trait to have. :) Have you written this kind of poetry before? It can be quite tricky, can't it? You've done a great job coming up with words that fit well with the topic.
Keep up the great blogging Molly. I'm looking forward to reading your next post.
