Trigger fish with human teeth?

 For this activity we had to read  this article and decide weather or not it was a true article. I did have a few reasons against it but ended up pick for it.

Catapult

 Yesterday was Monday so the first activity is a nano girl one. So for the activity we made catapults.

Spinning water

 Today we did another nanogirl activity. Today's activity was learning about gravity. I first did the one where the glass manages to hold the card board take a look.

After that I did the spinning water one. I have done this twice before. Each time successful but....

String fun

 

Today I made the cup and saucer with string. 2 years ago this was very popular and everybody was carrying around a piece of string. I haven't done this for a while so I had a quick look at the video for a refresher. I thought this was a fun activity.

Build a sundial

 

Today we did another Nanogirl activity. We made a sundial. Here is the finished project

I also added  throughout the day what time it was when the sun castes the shadow there.

Its cool to be kind

 

I found this activity easy. I went onto the last comment that was posted on my blog which was on December the 20th. I then replied and that was a SLJ activity complete. For the step it up we had to fill out a form and put the link to the comment in. I also did that.

Compressive strength

 

Today for the experiment I had already done all the prep if you want to see what the the prep was click here. The circular ones ended up also holding my scissors, all the pencils and rubbers. It still hadn't collapsed but I didn't know what else to put on it so I stopped.  I was surprised when the flat ones couldn't even hold the roof, when nano girl did it it managed to hold the roof. I enjoyed this activity.

Finding Equipment
