It’s Shannon again from the Summer Learning Journey.

Well done Molly, you have written some wonderful Haiku poems and it was lovely to hear you reading them as you intended them to sound. The way you have set them out with the pictures makes them so visually pleasing and easy to read.

Have you thought of becoming a poet, because you have a real talent for it?

Keep up the great work Molly.

    Ka kite anō,

    1. Hey Shannon

      Thanks for your comment,

No I have not thought of becoming a poet. Have you written any poems?

    2. Hi Molly,

When I was younger, I used to write lots of poems! My favourites were the ones that had rhyming words at the end, I love rhyming. My inspiration was always Dr Seuss. Do you like rhyming poems?

      Have a great day!

Yes I do like the rhyming ones. The rhyming ones can be really funny. Dr Seuss does some amazing book where he has every page rhyming. Have you read many of his books?

You also have a great day,

    4. Kia ora Molly,

I have read so many of his books! I even once wrote him a letter and he wrote one back! My favourites one is either The Sneeches or The Sleep Book! How many have you read? Which are your favourites?

      Bye for now,

I have never heard of the Sneeches or the sleep book but my favourite would have to be cat in the hat. I haven't read that many of his books maybe seven. The Horten books are also good. How many books of his have you read?

  2. Kia ora Molly,

I think I've read most of them! I highly recommend, maybe look them up online or pop to the library! If you like rhymes, you'll thoroughly enjoy them!

Have you had a good day Molly?

    Bye for now,
    Shannon (SLJ)
