Ka pai tō mahi! Good work! Thank you for taking part in this activity, I hope you enjoyed this activity and filled your baskets of knowledge with new words.

It looks like you may need to rearrange some words on your 5th slide where you explain the weather forecast. On slide three you can see that the adjective comes after the noun. Do you think you could figure out what needs changing in your 5th slide?

He aha te huarere ki tō whenua? What is the weather like where you are? Keep up the awesome blogging, i look forward to seeing your posts in the future.

    Ngā mihi,
    Kiana-Marino

    1. Hey Kiana Marino

It is great that it is sunny in Otaki. I am actually going to my first ever wedding this evening. It is my friends fathers wedding and I am so exited. Have you been to a wedding before? What are you going to do in the sunny weather?

  3. Kia Ora molly,

That sounds exciting! Sounds like a good day for one. Yes, I enjoy going to weddings, dressing up and celebrating love. Today I am at the library working on my laptop. Then I will head out for a walk with my family to the beach and go for a swim.
I hope you enjoy the wedding, you might also want to blog about your experience today later on?

Yes I might blog about it afterwards but I am behind on my SLJ activities. If I manage to catch up on the weekend I will blog about it. Though I definitely won't be blogging about it today because the wedding goes quite late and then I am going up the road to celebrate new years. Are you doing anything for New years?

  4. Kia Ora Molly, good to hear back from you.

I hope you enjoyed the beautiful weather you have been having and the wedding you attended. I just wanted to remind you that you are not obligated to complete all Summer Learning Journey activities so please don't feel pressured, however the posts you have blogged about are awesome so great work.

I watched the last sunet for 2020 and watched the first sunrise for 2021. Those were the two things i wanted to do so i am happy that i got the chance to do them. It is also my mums birthday so we went the day swimming with family at the river and eating lots of yummy food.

Have you celebrated New Years in any way? I would love to hear what you do for New years.

    Ngā mihi,
    Kiana-Marino

    1. Hey Kiana-Marino

The wedding went until 9 and then my friends and I went up to the land and celebrated there. We stayed up way past midnight. On New Years day I stayed at my friends house the whole day only coming back to mine in the evening. That was my New years experience.

The highlight was probably the wedding I had never been to a wedding but I had such a good time.

Yeah I am looking forward to next weeks activities. I wonder what they will be. Maybe it will have something to do with social sciences because we haven't done any activities around that yet.

  7. Kia Ora Molly! I'm Neisha from your class T1. I love how you put the Maori language for all the weathers. I have made a screencastify before and it was about camp. Maybe next time try to put more images and details but other than that it's really interesting. :)
