I decided that my special summer place will be my tree house/platform. This was because I don't really have a special summer place. We sometimes go to Rapahoe but that is not every summer so I decided to just stick with my tree house.
Kia Ora Molly, Kiana-Marino here from the Summer Learning Journey. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years.
What a cool treehouse you have there, you guys have done a great job at making it camouflaged too. Did it take you and your dad long to build it? I love that this is your special summer place because it is so accessible to you. When I was younger we used to have a tree house at the back of the house with a slide coming down from it and in the summer we would pour dishwashing liquid and water down it and slide down.
Awesome blogging you've been doing over the summer e hoa, keep it up!
Yes I really wanted it camouflage so I id that bit. It would be so cool having a slide coming down from your tree house. That would of been so fun. It didn't take me and my dad very long to build it though it did take me a very long time to persuade my dad to help me build it.
Hahaha yes sometimes persuading our parents can be a challenge sometimes. What do you do in your treehouse? Do you read, sleep, eat or use your imagination?
It is a bit to small for sleeping and it isn't exactly safe enough for that. Also think of all those spiders and earwigs that will come out at night. There probably isn't enough light to read. I usually think or talk depends if there is anyone with me. Did you sleep in your tree house?
Kia Ora Molly, Haha you made some good points, it does look like it would be a good place to gather you thoughts. I think for me having a treehouse gave me and my siblings a sense of adventure.
We had our neighbours come over and play with us after school and on weekends sometimes. We mainly played tag and go home stay home, our treehouse was the base.
I remember we had tried to sleep in our treehouse witha sleeping bag but would wake up and go back inside to our beds haha.
Kei te aha koe i tenei rā? What are you doing today?
Tauke! Thats awesome you went to the library, do you enjoy reading?
I haere au ki te moana i tēnei ata mo te hikoi. I went to the beach this morning for a walk. Soon I will go to training at the gym and cook dinner for my whānau.
I hope you have a wonderful day my friend, keep up the awesome communicating and blogging.
I really enjoy reading because there are so many lessons involved whenever you pick up a book. For dinner I cooked roasted kumara with broccoli and crumbed chicken, it was yum with bbq sauce.
I hope you have a great weekend. I will catch up with you on next week's activities.
