Happy New year

For this activity we had to make a poster saying happy new year in 5 different languages. I technically did 6 because English is a language.

My whanau all know how to say happy new year in German.

For the step it up a did a video on me saying happy new year in 10 languages. I wasn't sure how many I had done and ended up doing 13. Hope you enjoy and learn something.

  1. Hey Molly,

Well done on this awesome new years poster and video. It’s really cool to learn how different people are celebrating the new year and the words that are shared around the globe as new year's comes to them. Did you know we are one of the first countries to get the new year along with Samoa, Tonga, Fiji and Kiribati.

My Dad’s a missionary in Romania and he wished me “An nou fericit” which is Happy new years in Romania so there’s a bonus one for you too.

    Great work Molly,
See you later in the comments,

    Daniel

    3. Hey Daniel

Yes a lot of them are really similar. Also my pronunciation is not very good so it was probably very easy to miss.

      Thanks for your reply
      Molly :)
