Fiona here from the SLJ team. Great work creating a glider out of cardboard then making a cool video so we can see how it glides! What inspired your glider design? Did you research online for ideas then draw your plan on paper first?
Your video reminded me of the great kids movie 'Paper Planes'. Have you seen it? It is all about this little boy that travels overseas for the international paper plane competition.
I agree with your observation that perhaps your glider didn't fly too far because the wings were a bit too big for the size of the body. This is awesome learning and now you know what to change and try out next time!
Well I thought that my other glider the if the middle bit was that big then I would need the wings way bigger and so I made these wings way to big even though the middle bit wasn't that big. No I didn't research online or draw it first but that would be a good idea if I was to make another glider.
No I have never seen the movie paper planes. Do you recommend it?
